　　全世界近百種的貓頭鷹，在台灣這塊寶島上就棲息了高達12種。「做陣來瘋鴞」通過對這塊寶島為念想，我們將貓頭鷹與台灣的在地特色結合做為內容呈現，用更貼近生活的方式讓人們意識到這群貓頭鷹可能正向過往的美好般逐漸消失。
　　我們透過書與網路的形式將貓頭鷹的風貌記錄下來，希望能藉由本創作引起讀者的共鳴，讓讀者從一開始對貓頭鷹的不了解，到現在與我們一樣瘋狂地熱愛著牠們，進而願意為保育盡一份心力，同時讓年輕一輩的讀者去意識到在過往環境中曾發生過的改變。
